Please note this device is different than the Toftness Technique, which is a low-force chiropractic technique. The device was used as a diagnostic tool to locate subluxations in the spine. This device is essentially the same as any Abrams-like rubbing device. In 1982, the Dept. of Justice sent a letter out to Chiropractors as the result of a case which condemned the Toftness Radiation Detector.
